Emerald Dainty Fancy Halo Necklace

This necklace is made with a Faceted Emerald Cabochon and wire wrapped in Copper Wire. We oxidize the Copper to give it that antique patina and coat it in Renaissance Wax to prevent further oxidization.

Emerald is a variety of Beryl, in the same family as Aquamarine and Morganite, where trace amounts of Vanadium or Chromium give it it’s signature green coloration. Emeralds have long been considered symbols for rebirth, love, and truth, and is the birthstone for May.
